So sorry for the inconsistent updates. Marc is just about done with week 5 of radiation- yipee!! Here's a bit of an update. . . 2 weeks ago on September 10th, his oldest grandson Jaden was Star of the Week at school. He was able to bring in special guests and he chose his Grandma and Grandpa (much cooler than Mom and Dad for sure!). Jaden's classmates had a great time asking questions and learning all the neat things that make Grandma and Grandpa so wonderful. After visiting the classroom, we all got to eat lunch with Jaden in the cafeteria. Jaden loved showing his Grandma and Grandpa how to buy lunch.
The radiation has begun to take a toll on Marc. His vision has been affected which is rather frustrating for Marc. He is still very tired and continues to rest as much as possible. His hair began to fall out, so he went to the barber and got his head shaved on Friday, September 14th. We all think he looks great and even the grandkids think Grandpa looks awesome. His attitude still remains positive. Once again, we can't thank you all enough for your kind acts of service, love, and prayers.
